Biography

In 2011, I graduated as a High Honor Student from Karadeniz Technical University, Faculty of Medicine. In the same year, I ranked 53rd nationwide in the Medical Specialization Examination and began my residency training at the University of Health Sciences, Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital, Ophthalmology Clinic.

Between 2012 and 2016, I completed my specialization with my thesis titled: “Comparison of Treatment Results of Pars Plana Vitrectomy and Intravitreal Injection in Diabetic Macular Edema.”

In 2016, I started working as an ophthalmology specialist at Trabzon Kanuni Training and Research Hospital. That same year, I was awarded first place at the Thessaloniki Vitreoretinal Summer School.

In 2019, I successfully passed the European Board of Ophthalmology (EBO) examination, earning the title of Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO).

In 2023, I was awarded the title of Associate Professor.

I have authored more than 40 scientific articles published in national and international peer-reviewed journals. In addition, I have been invited as a speaker at many national and international congresses and have delivered various scientific presentations.
