OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE

The purpose of this policy is to guide activities aimed at providing a healthy and safe working environment for all İmperial Hospital employees.

With this policy; It is supported that the occupational health and safety activities carried out by İmperial Hospital are managed with the principle of “No Job is Urgent Enough to Be Done Unsafely, Occupational Health and Safety First” with the awareness that our most valuable asset is our employees.

This policy covers all İmperial Hospital employees, patients, relatives of patients, employees of subcontractors/suppliers and visitors.

2. GOAL

With the approach of “All accidents and occupational diseases can be prevented”, our occupational health and safety systems and practices are regularly reviewed and awareness is raised in our employees on this issue, aiming for zero occupational accidents and zero occupational diseases.

3. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Emperial Hospital employees, patients, relatives of patients, employees of subcontractors/suppliers and visitors are responsible for complying with this policy. All these individuals are obliged to cooperate with the Occupational Health and Safety team in the workplace in line with the legislative practices in order to prevent risks in terms of health and safety.

Emperial Hospital employees at all levels are responsible for ensuring compliance with this policy.

4. POLICY PRINCIPLES

4.1. Compliance with Legal Regulations and Changing Conditions is Demonstrated.

Occupational health and safety practices are carried out in accordance with the legislation and standards and the aim is to continuously improve our performance.

4.2. Occupational Health and Safety Risk Analysis is Conducted and Managed to Create a Safe Work Environment.

While carrying out all our activities, possible risks are analyzed in advance and proactive approaches are exhibited to prevent these risks.

4.3. Occupational Health and Safety is Seen as a Shared Responsibility of All Our Employees and an Indispensable Part of Our Corporate Culture.

Occupational health and safety culture is seen as a part of life. Within İmperial Hospital, standardization and excellence in occupational health and safety practices targeted by sharing knowledge and experience are disseminated among our employees and all stakeholders.

4.4. All Employees are Provided with Training on Occupational Health and Safety.

All employees are provided with training on Occupational Health and Safety upon their start and at certain periods during their employment. The participation of employees in each training is documented at the end of the training.

4.5. Our Occupational Health and Safety Performance is Regularly Reviewed and Efforts are Made for Continuous Improvement.

Our occupational health and safety system is regularly reviewed with the aim of continuously improving our occupational health and safety performance and creating awareness among our employees on this issue.

4.6. It is Aimed to Be a Pioneer with Our Occupational Health and Safety Application and Performance.

Our hospital aims to be a pioneer by developing exemplary approaches in occupational health and safety practices.

5. REVIEW

This policy document shall enter into force on the date it is approved by the Imperial Hospital Management and, if deemed necessary, it shall be reviewed by the Occupational Health and Safety Unit and Human Resources and any change proposals shall be submitted to the Management for approval. In case of an update, it shall be announced to all employees.
