He was born on 14.10.1970 in Bor district of Niğde. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Niğde. He started his education at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1986 and graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 1992.

He started his compulsory service at Ilgaz Central Health Center in 1992. He started his specialization in Ankara University Faculty of Medicine Chest Diseases and TBC Department in 1993. He worked at KTU Faculty of Medicine Eye Diseases Department for 6 months in 1994.

He completed his specialization in the Radiology Department of KTÜ Faculty of Medicine between 1994-1999 and started working as a Radiology Specialist at Trabzon Numune Hospital.

He is married and has 3 children.
